The Tridentine Mass is the Mass of All Time given to us by Jesus 2000 years ago.
You are welcome to join Our Lady Help of Christians in Utica, NY to attend a Traditional Latin Mass. Services will be offered monthly on the third or fourth Sunday of each month. We currently have an arrangement to use the banquet facility at Alee’s Restaurant located at 247 Elizabeth Street, Utica, NY 13501. Although from time to time we may have Mass at alternative locations based on need.
Tridentine Mass will be celebrated by Fr. Richard Voigt, S.D.B.. Father Voigt comes from the Salesian Order and celebrates Latin Masses as an independent priest. Father Voigt travels extensively and currently is celebrating Latin Mass Monthly at Our Lady of Good Success in Syracuse, NY. Father has graciously agreed to celebrate Mass here in Utica, NY following his morning Mass in Syracuse.
Usually our schedule will be Sundays (see schedule):
- Confession 12:30 PM
- Rosary during Confession
- Mass 1 PM
- Refreshments following Mass
Father Voigt is always glad to speak with you after Mass and answer any questions you may have. On occasion a light meal may be offered where Fr. Voigt will speak and have discussions.
