Fourth Sunday After Pentecost 2020

“Put Out Into The Deep”

“Put out into the deep,” our Lord said to Peter. From Peter’s boat our Lord taught the multitude who recognized our Lord as a prophet with the power to crush sickness and the infestation of Satan. Peter had been hard at work all night and caught absolutely nothing. After listening to the words of God from one who spoke with authority Peter was ready to humor the Lord Who knew nothing about fishing. Peter told him that it was useless to fish now but at the “Master’s Word” Peter was willing to cast the net.

Amazed at the catch and calling for help, Peter fell to his knees and said: “Depart from me, Lord, for I am a sinful man.” Can we not all repeat these words of St. Peter? I certainly can. But there is much more to this moment than meets the eye. First the net is so full that it is tearing. The Church will come to a moment in which so many have entered her fold that heresies and apostasies will rip at the very fabric of truth. I quote the most recent remarks of Archbishop Vigano to the Catholic World Report. He writes:

I wish to recall that for some people what is expressed above may sound excessive, because it would seem to call into question the authority of the Church and of the Roman Pontiffs. And yet, no scruple impeded the violation of Saint Pius V’s Bull Quo primum tempore, abolishing the entire Roman Liturgy from one day to the next, the venerable millenary treasure of the doctrine and spirituality of the traditional Mass, the immense patrimony of Gregorian chant and sacred music, the beauty of the rites and sacred vestments, disfiguring architectural harmony even in the most distinguished basilicas, removing balustrades, monumental altars, and tabernacles: everything was sacrificed on the conciliar renewal’s altar of coram populo, with the aggravating circumstance of having done it only because that Liturgy was admirably Catholic and irreconcilable with the spirit of Vatican II. The Church is a divine institution, and everything in her ought to start with God and return to Him. What is at stake is not the prestige of a ruling class, nor the image of a company or a party: what we are dealing with here is the glory of the Majesty of God, of not nullifying the Passion of Our Lord on the Cross, of the sufferings of His Most Holy Mother, of the blood of the Martyrs, of the testimony of the Saints, of the eternal salvation of souls. If out of pride or unfortunate obstinacy we do not know how to recognize the error and deception into which we have fallen, we will have to give an account to God, who is as merciful with his people when they repent as he is implacable in justice when they follow Lucifer in his non serviam. Dearest Doctor Lawler, to you and to your readers, I cordially send my greetings and the blessing of Our Lord, through the intercession of His and our Most Holy Mother.

The revolution that took place at Vatican II is now being recognize for the attack against the faith that it performed. Archbishop Lefebvre was correct in his rejection of the Council and his warning of the “time bombs” the documents contained. One has only to return to the moment in which Peter fell to his knees and performed the humble act of recognizing that sin blinds us to the Lordship of Jesus. We turn to the vision of the world and want to subject God to our human condition. You cannot state that Jesus is your Lord without the gift of the Holy Spirit. In the Spirit we recognize the continuity of our faith and the Council disrupted that integrity of doctrine. Now all of us must humble ourselves in imitation of Archbishop Vigano and cry out: “Mea culpa.”

The Parallel Church is sinking and for ninety days it betrayed Christ and became the Church of Abandonment. It failed to accompany anyone anywhere. One knows the tree by the fruit it bears and the fruit of Vatican II has ripped the net of the Catholic doctrine and liturgy totally apart. The Mystical Body will rise up after the death of the parallel church is complete. God and His Mystical Body does not die but will rise victorious in the hearts of true Catholics around the world. When this happens then a holy Pope will be crowned and he will call the Catholic faithful to join with all the bishops to consecrate Russia to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. The result will be the greatest miracle ever for all the world will kneel at the feet of the Lord Jesus
Christ and listen to the words of Truth incarnate.

Let us pray many rosaries and entrust ourselves and our families to the care of our Lady. For only in her will the victory be complete.

In the hearts of Jesus, Mary and Joseph,

Fr. Richard Voigt
